Every year on the first Friday of February the American Heart Association's "Go Red For Women" hosts their "National Wear Red Day" to bring awareness to women's cardiovascular health and for us all to stand in solidarity and support of women's heart health.
This year, the National Go Red Day falls on Friday, February 4, 2022. Men and women are encouraged to wear red on this day. However, there is more to it than just wearing a cute red outfit. This day should serve as an alarm clock to remind us to get our annual checkups, make sure our diets are heart healthy, keep ourselves physically active with various cardio workouts [walking, jogging, workouts at the gym, etc.]
