One of the biggest things that I have always appreciated about this show came from an interview with Ms. Hall, where she pointed out that showing this world of adult entertainment workers is to shine a light on the fact that they are regular everyday women just trying to make it and survive like the rest of us. I will say this, the women that work that pole are some of the most unrecognized athletes in the world. The athleticism it takes to be able to what they do is awe inspiring. **mental note, I need to find a pole dancing class FA REAL!**
As we now get deeper into Season 2, the illumination of various issues that people face daily regardless of their financial status in life including mental health issues, domestic violence, a wide array of abuses, child endangerment, teen pregnancy, suicide and much more even amid a global pandemic — or as Keyshawn says, "pandemy" — are being discussed! Never judge a book by its cover!!! Like each and every one of us, P-Valley is so much more than meets the eyes. Watch it then you can thank me later.
