The struggle for inclusion and representation in the fashion and entertainment industries is commonplace even to this day. Even within our Second Life virtual space, there is still a great divide. Designers seeking bring the underrepresented a space to be seen are often times faced with their access to developer kits and events being denied by the "gatekeepers" in favor or more of the "same" that has permeated the SL market for the past nineteen years.
